Webcontrol Machinery Corp. builds shrink sleeve seaming machines for precise, stable, and high-speed label production. The K Series includes five models, ranging from the entry-level K2 to the fully automated K5 Plus, supporting different production speeds, web widths, and automation requirements across food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, personal care, and household product applications.

During production, shrink sleeve film is unwound and guided through the machine, where adhesive is precisely applied to the film edge before it is sealed into a continuous sleeve. Advanced tension control and alignment systems help maintain consistent web handling and sleeve formation throughout the process. Plus Series models further improve operating efficiency with automation features such as touchscreen controls and quick setup.

The K Series provides different levels of automation to match specific converting requirements. The K2 is an entry-level seaming machine with a maximum speed of 300 m/min and an adjustable forming section. The K2 Plus adds automated, high-precision sleeve forming, while the K3 Plus is designed for wider and faster production, reaching 500 m/min with a 720 mm unwind width, an automatic frictionless lay-flat setup system, and three independent tension zones. For continuous production, the K4 Plus incorporates a turret rewind unit for semi non-stop operation, while the K5 Plus uses turret unwind and rewind units to support full non-stop production.

From standard converting to high-speed non-stop production, the K Series allows shrink sleeve label converters to select the appropriate level of speed, automation, and web-handling capability for their production requirements.
